North End Pharmacy Remedy’sRx is located in a commercial plaza sharing a medical lab along with
physiotherapy, chiropractic, massage and kinesiology services. We are a small independent pharmacy
focused on providing patient-focused personalized care to a diverse demographic. Most of our patients
are known by name as we service patients with all types of healthcare needs. Working at this site
requires a community-minded approach to servicing patients, while always upholding a high standard of
pharmacy professionalism.
We are looking for a Pharmacist with the following skills/attributes:

- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Prepare, dispense and control medications accurately and timely to patients
- Counsel patients in regards to prescription and OTC medications in a friendly, positive and pro-active interaction
- Receive Rx orders and accurately reduce same to writing in compliance with local laws and regulations
- Evaluate appropriateness of prescription orders with consideration for patient safety and legal requirement
- Provide where appropriate, clinical services (adaptations, medication reviews, immunizations etc.) in addressing patient needs
- Complete third-party adjudications necessary to complete prescriptions
- Coordinate and supervise the non-sterile compounding and dispensing of drugs according to medication
- orders issued by authorized medical care providers and be responsible for the timely processing of medication orders and the distribution of medications
- Assist where necessary in providing on-going training for any new and existing pharmacy staff, colleagues (technicians, assistants, students, etc.)
- Provide timely and positive resolution to patient’s needs and prescriber’s requests/issues
- Provide education and raise awareness of public regarding care gaps
- Comply with and ensure COVID-19 workplace safety protocols being followed
Education and Experience:
- Licensed Pharmacist with College of Pharmacists of British Columbia
- 2+ years related community practice experience preferred
- Capable and confident with opening and closing pharmacy independently once orientation training is completed
- Compliance packaging experience
- Experience using KROLL software
Schedule & Compensation:
- Casual/Part-time – Flexible schedule of weekdays and Saturdays (approximately 2-3 shifts per week)
- May be asked to work additional shifts for coverage if required
- Negotiable wages based on experience

Part-time hours: 14-23 per week
Salary: From $50.00 per hour

License/Certification:
